SmartChamber: Broadcast-Ready Meeting Rooms
Find out more: https://smartchamber.cloudyit.co.uk/Â
Overview:
The council is in the chamber, the clerk is ill and participating remotely along with some residents who are observing; perhaps soon the entire meeting will be held remotely. Whether remote, hybrid or livestreamed to residents, it’s important everyone can he clearly heard. Most council chambers were never designed for a virtual set-up. This session shows how the right audio-visual set–up, councillor devices, and meeting software turn a patched-together meeting into one that works for everyone, whether they’re in the room or at home. We’ll also look at how AI can quietly play an important admin role in the background so the clerk can focus on the meeting itself.Â
WHAT YOU’LL COVERÂ :
- Preparing for hybrid meetings — what changes when part of the room is remote, and how to plan for itÂ
- AV for council chambers — cameras, microphones, and screens that suit the size of your roomÂ
