Cloudy Group is delighted to announce our success in the Careers Excellence Awards 2019 in the Small or Medium Employer of the Year category.
Small or Medium Employer of the Year is awarded to an employer that is delivering their own tailored programme to schools or colleges, demonstrated through both an innovative approach and delivery of meaningful encounters for young people.
We’ve seen how our business, as well as that of our clients’ and the wider community, can benefit from supportive programmes which engage schools in the way we are doing with the App-Prentice Challenge. This is why we have developed the Cloudy Enterprise Academy, which actively encourages our network of clients and other local employers to support our programme in schools, colleges and local groups’ coding clubs.
The Careers Excellence Awards shine a light on best practice careers guidance to inspire and prepare young people for success in the world of work and are a collaboration between The Careers & Enterprise Company and the Gatsby Foundation. This is a showcase of excellence across the many fantastic organisations and individuals working hard across careers guidance.

About the Gatsby Foundation
Gatsby is a foundation set up by David Sainsbury to realise his charitable objectives. In 2014, the Gatsby Foundation published a report by Professor Sir John Holman, Senior Advisor in Education at the Gatsby Foundation, titled Good Career Guidance.
The report identified eight benchmarks that define world-class career guidance. Since the launch of the Government’s Careers Strategy in 2017, all schools and colleges in England are working to meet each of the eight benchmarks.
