Cloudy Group – Silver CSR Accredited

Since conducting our first CSR audit we have developed a CSR Company Policy to share with our employees and have identified areas for improvement. Measures are in place to drive positive change in areas under the CSR-A Four Pillars including employing a new partnership with Sustainably Run‘s Green Earth Appeal. Since then, we have had a tree planted in the developing world for every new CloudyIT modernisation customer. See the adjacent video for more information.

What is CSR Accreditation?

CSR Accreditation is an effective way to benchmark what you are already doing with regard to social responsibility. It is a process in which you collate, measure and report on your organisation’s socially responsible activities.

An Accreditation will also provide you with a roadmap for planning and recording future activity against four CSR Pillars: environment, workplace, community and philanthropy.

Each CSR Pillar is designed to help you impact report on areas such as energy performance, recycling, staff engagement, health and well-being, community engagement and supporting local and national charities.

Cloudy in the Community

We believe that supporting community projects is vital. We consider it a real privilege to be working with some fantastic local charities like Buckingham Parish Church and Citizens Advice Bureau, BACAB, as well as local customers and public bodies such as Campbell Park Parish Council and Stony Stratford Town Council.

As a growing business in the Buckingham area, we are also passionate about taking the time to support local charities and events outside of our work remit in order to benefit the community and the surrounding area.

PHILANTHROPY

Cloudy in Education

Our socially responsible work with the Cloudy Group Enterprise Academy alongside local schools, colleges, universities, National Collaborative Outreach Programme partners (NCOPs) and our business partners, has been recognised by the Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) as an inspiring programme for preparing young people for the fast-changing digital workplace.

We are proud to have been awarded the CEC’s Small Employer of the Year 2019 which marks our App-Prentice Challenge programme as being celebrated on the national stage.
