Job Vacancy – Senior Support Desk Engineer

£20,000 – £25,000 a year

CloudyIT are seeking to recruit a Senior Support Desk engineer to join an existing small team of engineers based in Buckingham. We are looking for a hardworking team-player who is happy to take on new challenges supporting a variety of clients. The role will be based within our main office from 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday reporting to the Service Delivery Director. We anticipate scope for the role to develop into a Support Desk Manager role within 1 year.

Technical RequirementsThe ideal candidate must have a good working knowledge of:

  • Server 2012
  • Windows 10
  • DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange / Office 365, Hyper V, Veeam, VoIP phone systems, SiP, SharePoint
The Right PersonTo fulfil the role, we would ideally be looking for the following:

  • Good phone manner
  • Ability to offer remote support to clients
  • Multitasking
  • Problem solving / Trouble shooting
  • Full UK driving license (optional use of company car for support jobs)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
